A highly experienced HR generalist, Barbara has had a long and successful career in senior management and at Board level in a wide variety of organisations in the public and private sectors. In the latter she has worked with professional partnerships and the Law Society and with major names in the UK insurance and financial services markets.
Barbara’s experience includes the management of significant organisational upheavals, both mergers and downsizing; responsibility for compliance and corporate governance; and the delivery of in-house legal services to a diverse range of businesses.
In her role as professional development consultant, Barbara’s entrepreneurial and innovative approach helps clients to plan and implement effective HR strategies. She also advises on and guides complex change management, conflict resolution and performance development programmes and is a popular choice of coach for senior professionals including lawyers and HR people.
In her free time Barbara rides and trains dressage horses from whom she never stops learning.
