For most, senior management or partnership is an aspiration which, when realised, can be disconcerting. Frequently, the training and development management team members and new partners may have received during their upwardly mobile careers will not have provided them with the skills required to see the big picture and to deal effectively with the dynamics of the senior team of which they find themselves part.
