An entrepreneurial solicitor with a career of 30+ years in corporate and commercial litigation, Geoffrey offers a deep understanding of the culture of partnership, business and change management and CRM in law firms.
He has had extensive experience at partner level, both in a niche commercial practice and a 60-solicitor regional firm. He was also a managing partner for three years, responsible for his firm’s litigation practice and for the recruitment, training and mentoring of trainee and newly-admitted solicitors.
Geoffrey’s move into professional development consultancy was inspired by competing in the Global Challenge round the world yacht race in 2004-5. He witnessed at first hand the supremacy of coaching over technical training in helping individuals and teams to reach their full potential and tackle major challenges. This experience, coupled with his business awareness, now informs his consultancy role where he specialises in working with the partners of law firms, in CRM, in conflict resolution and in enhancing the performance of professional teams and their leaders.
